IWEA Autumn Conference

10th - 11th October 2018

Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, Galway

 This year's Autumn Conference will take place in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, Galway.   The event will take place over two days on the 10th and 11th October.  On Wednesday 10th October the IWEA Annual Golf Event will take place as usual and this year we have added a new activity with a tour to Galway Wind Way to run alongside the golf.  The Pre-Conference dinner will take place later that evening and the main Conference will take place all day Thursday 11th October. 

Wednesday 10th October 

9.00am               IWEA Golf Event - Galway Bay Golf Resort, Oranmore, Co Galway - Fully Booked 

9.00am               IWEA Galway Wind Way Tour including lunch - Fully Booked 

This tour will include bus hire to the wind farm, guided tour on arrival and lunch in Powers Thatched Bar & Restaurant on the return journey.  The bus will arrive back at the Galway Bay Hotel at 2pm.

 

7.00pm               Drinks reception and golf awards (Galway Bay Hotel)

8.00pm               Pre-conference dinner (Galway Bay Hotel)

Thursday 11th October

8.00am               Conference registration 

9.00am               IWEA Autumn Conference - WIND ENERGY - Working for Ireland

5.00pm               Conference close

Event Terms and Conditions

Please note that you are only entitled to the discounted fees if your membership payments are up to date for 2018.  Delegates are required to pay their registration in full prior to attendance at the conference.  In order to confirm your booking, you must complete the booking on line via our new website.  Members of IWEA can either pay at the time of booking or request to pay by invoice via the website (please note this is the only method available for booking tickets to the Autumn Conference).  Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings by email or over the phone any more as all bookings need to go through the website to ensure we capture every delegate.  If requesting to pay by invoice, members must submit a copy of their PO if applicable, this can be uploaded during the on-line registration process.  Delegates who cancel their place by 31st August 2018 will have their fees refunded, less an administrative charge of €50 per delegate.  No Refunds will be made to those cancelling after that date but replacement delegates will be accepted.  Non attendees are still liable for payment for the conference.  All cancellations must be confirmed in writing to This email address is being protected from spambots.
