This course provides an in-depth familiarisation with the components of a typical renewable asset High Voltage(HV) electrical installation including the protection and control sub-systems.
This course will also describes the function / normal operation of the asset and typical faults.
We will also outline the documents and records associated with HV electrical plant and describes best practice in the monitoring of a HV system.

Course Trainers
Michael O'Grady and Padraig Plunkett of Kilbride Power are industry professionals with over 60 years combined experience at all levels in the development, design, construction, maintenance, operation, control and health & safety of high voltage electrical systems.
Having held senior roles in design, construction and H&S the team is well placed to answer all queries associated with electrical installations. A chartered electrical engineer with a background in HV design, construction and project management teamed with a time served electrician from a utility HV background with a H.Dip. SHAWW in Health and Safety provide the ideal combination to deliver the subject matter in an engaging and interactive manner with the ability to understand the needs of groups and individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and cater to those needs throughout the course.
