Olsen Renewables (FOR) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bonheur ASA and is responsible for the group’s renewable energy activities. FOR’s first investment onshore wind was made back in 1996.
We operate in all parts of the energy value chain, form sourcing windfarm acreage to sale of electricity in the global market, developing renewable energy production in UK, Germany, France and Scandinavia. We manage all phases from concept development to detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations.
In Ireland, Codling Bank Wind Park (CWP) owned by Fred. Olsen Renewables and Hazel Shore is a consented 220 turbine offshore wind farm. The Project is located to the east of the shallow sand bank known as Codling Bank, approximately 13 kilometres off the east coast of Ireland, between Greystones and Wicklow and is capable of satisfying the typical power requirements of more than 600,000 homes.
