Shaping our Electricity Future Webinar

Shaping our Electricity Future is EirGrid’s comprehensive consultation on a roadmap to deliver at least 70% of Ireland’s electricity from renewable sources by 2030.

The consultation outlines a range of scenarios across the Electricity Grid to deliver this and also outlines EirGrid’s plans for the Electricity Market and System Operations to integrate this level of renewables.

This webinar will provide an overview of the consultation and the most relevant points in it for the onshore and offshore wind industry and will then talk through the key messages that will be incorporated in the Wind Energy Ireland consultation response.

The consultation closing date is 14 June and the intention of the webinar is to inform participants on the scope of the consultation and highlight the main messages from the wind industry perspective that can be used in the development of participants’ responses.
