Course Overview
Securing finance is a critical step in the path to project commercialisation. Experts will explain how energy project risks are identified and categorised, how finance is structured and provide clarity on the impact of RESS for Irish finance structures. Exercises and case studies are used to show the scale of the investment challenge in the Irish energy sector, contracts and financing trade-offs.
This training session is designed for those from non-finance backgrounds to understand how equity investors and debt providers assess, quantify and translate risks and opportunities into financing structures for energy projects.
This remote session(s) will be delivered by expert trainers and include group-based discussions to ensure practical application of learning. A recording of the training along with a soft copy of the materials will be made available to all attendees.
