Ireland stands at the forefront of the global transition to renewable energy, excelling in both onshore wind energy and the integration of sustainable power sources. With some of the most favourable offshore wind resources in the world, we are moving forward with our first offshore projects now in the planning stages, alongside scheduled dates for upcoming offshore and onshore energy auctions. Our Government is fully committed to ensuring a clean energy future for Ireland, and our industry is resolutely focused on making it a reality. Ireland is a land of incredible opportunity for investors and supply chains alike, showcasing arguably the best untapped offshore wind resources worldwide. With a skilled workforce, decades of onshore energy experience, and a robust policy framework, the potential here is immense.
Between April 8 and 10, 2025, the comprehensive value chain of the wind industry from across Europe will convene in Copenhagen. Anticipate over 15,000 attendees visiting the Bella Center during these three days, where more than 500 companies will showcase their innovations and establish valuable business connections.
