Galway Wind Park, in Connemara’s Cloosh Valley
Join us for a tour of Galway Wind Way in the Galway Wind Park on Wednesday 10th October. The 174MW Galway Wind Park, co-developed by SSE and Coillte in Connemara’s Cloosh Valley, is now Ireland’s largest and best performing wind farm, generating more green energy than any other wind generation site on the island.
There will also be a networking lunch on the return journey in Powers Thatched Bar & Restaurant, Oughterard. There will be a coach pick up at the Galway Bay Hotel at 9.15am and will return to the hotel at approximately 2.00pm. See below for the full agenda.

10.30am - Walking tour of Galway Wind Way
12.00pm - Bus leaves
12.30pm - Lunch in Powers Thatched Bar & Restaurant, Oughterard
2.00pm - Bus arrives back at Galway Bay Hotel
Please note we would advise all participants to have suitable walking shoes & appropriate rain gear to take part. In the event of bad weather the event will be moved into the Operations Building for a presentation.

Delegates are required to pay their registration in full prior to attendance at the conference. In order to confirm your booking, you must complete the booking online and pay in full or submit a copy of your Purchase Order at the time of booking. Please ensure that if your company uses a PO system you must provide the correct PO number and upload a copy of this PO to ensure your booking is confirmed. Failure to upload the correct PO will result in the booking becoming invalid. Delegates who cancel their place after the 3rd September will have their fees refunded, less an administrative charge of €50 per delegate. No Refunds will be made to those cancelling after that date but replacement delegates will be accepted. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cancellations by telephone. Please note that these terms and conditions also apply to any registrations made on or after 3/08/18. Invoice payable within 14 days of issue. To avail of the student rate students must be in Full Time Education and must provide a valid student card.
