The Green Hydrogen Committee within WEI was set up to discuss the role that hydrogen will play in the Irish energy sector. Recognising that hydrogen will play a crucial role in decarbonising our energy system through curtailment mitigation, providing long duration storage and helping hard-to-abate industries to transition away from fossil fuels.

• The Green Hydrogen Committee has four working groups: Hydrogen Production, Energy Systems Integration, Route to Market and Communications.
