New Members:  Lirion Power, APEM Group and Enfonic

Wind Energy Ireland is pleased to announce three members of Wind Energy Ireland: Lirion Power, Apem Group and Enfonic.

Lirion Power

Lirion Power was established to be a new kind of onshore renewable energy player, one
that combines fresh capital with operational expertise to accelerate Ireland’s energy
transition. The Lirion Power platform focuses on optimising and reinvesting in existing
onshore renewable assets, particularly mid-life wind farms approaching the latter stages of revenue support frameworks. These assets offer significant opportunities for colocation and hybridisation, re-contracting, and repowering to maximise renewable
generation output and extend asset lifetimes.

In July 2025, Lirion Power completed the acquisition of six operating onshore wind farms in Ireland, with a combined gross capacity of 166MW, from Greencoat Renewables. This milestone marked an investment of €156m in Ireland and the start of building a company with deep capabilities across operations, power markets, development, and finance, designed to deliver long-term value for Ireland’s energy system. Lirion Power has assembled an experienced management team in these core areas, committed to actively managing the current and future portfolio and acting as a long-term, active owner of renewable generation and system services in the Irish market.

Lirion Power is backed by HitecVision, a leading European private equity investor with
over EUR 9 billion under management across the energy sector, and Reinova Partners, a
specialist energy transition infrastructure investment firm founded by two former
Brookfield Asset Management executives with an extensive operating history in Irish and
UK renewables. Together, this sponsorship provides both the capital strength and sector
expertise to support Lirion’s ambitious growth trajectory

APEM has updated their membership with Wind Energy Ireland to cover the wider group.
