DESCRIPTION:The Wind Energy Ireland Q3 Policy Forum will focus on the futur
 e of offshore wind and the important role floating wind will play in reach
 ing Ireland’s longer-term targets for 2040\, and ultimately 2050. The ORE 
 Future Framework Policy and Powering Prosperity – Ireland’s Offshore Wind 
 Industrial Strategy\, both published this year\, set out a number of actio
 ns which will be required over to the coming years to build towards our of
 fshore goals\, and highlighting the need for floating wind as part of our 
 offshore wind future.\nWe will discuss what the vision is for floating off
 shore wind and examine the progress which has been made internationally to
  date\, before we turn our attention to what Ireland must do to kick-start
  and build confidence in the Irish floating wind industry.&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp
