  is free and registration will open shortly.\nRE:HARRIER (Renewable Energy
  and Hen Harriers) is a four-year Irish research project\, led by MKO Rese
 arch in partnership with Wind Energy Ireland and in collaboration with UCD
  and UCC. The project\, which is funded by the Sustainable Energy Authorit
 y Ireland\, focuses on the interactions between hen harriers and wind ener
 gy developments. Hen harriers are a species of conservation concern in Ire
 land and across Europe. Despite their conservation status and ongoing deve
 lopment of wind energy throughout their range\, substantial uncertainty st
 ill exists regarding the effects of wind farms on this emblematic bird of 
 prey. RE:HARRIER studies different aspects of hen harrier ecology in relat
 ion to wind farms\, to improve our understanding of the effects of these d
 evelopments on the species and to inform effective conservation strategies
  and best environmental practice for wind energy developments.\nMore detai
